  Honza Cervenka: 19...Ra3 was a mistake. It was necessary to retreat with Queen from the diagonal occupied by white Bishop. Instead of 21.Ndb5 white could play also 21.Nb3 Qxb4 22.Nxe4

May-31-15  zydeco: Geller played the most interesting chess of anybody at this tournament but he lost several games through horrific blunders. He overlooks a simple defense here: Geller vs Keres, 1950 and hangs his queen here: Geller vs Suetin, 1950

Playing through Geller's games from his peak in the '60s, it definitely seem like he suffers from inconsistency or a tendency to make elementary mistakes. Surprising that this was obviously a problem for him early in his career.
