Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-07-04  ughaibu: According to Chessbase this version is the correct one, not this one: Geller vs Gligoric, 1970
Apr-07-04  Benjamin Lau: ughaibu, good to see you are here. Remember the chess program that Lawrence told you about several days ago "Kimo" which could recognize blockades and other sorts of draws? Well, it turns out it was just an April Fool's joke and "Kimo" is actually just part of *Kasparov's* full name. It turned out that the "program" was human after all. A very funny article that you should read when you have time.
Apr-07-04  ughaibu: Thanks, Lawrence mentioned the date in a later post. Have you got a link for the article?

Kimo Unmasked

offramp: Gligoric plays 22...Nb8 with the idea of placing the N on d5. It is a good positional idea, but Geller settles the game almost immediately with 23.Nxe5.
