Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-28-23  Albion 1959: I first came across this game back in 1980's. It featured in the BCM. One of Geller's lesser-known attacking wins. Grigorian was actually doing okay and only went wrong on move 29 with Kh7?? After 30 Rh3 the attack broke through. The best move was 29 Qc4! As found by Rybka! It threatens Re1+ & Qe2+. Geller's best reply was 30 h3, giving his king a flight square. Though Rh3 is no longer available and it is still game on for both sides!
