Jun-13-05  Resignation Trap: Gulko's combination starting with 26...Bxe3! was fine play (if 27. fxe3 Qf3! threatening 28...Rxd7! and Black should get at least a draw). Gulko lost his way in time pressure and later lost.
Dec-09-13  ozmikey: It looks like the only route to a draw after 28. Be6! was 28...Bxf2+ 29. Kg2 Qe7! 30. Rxd8 Qxd8 31. Rxf2 Rxf2+ 32. Kxf2 Qd2+, and White has to settle for a perpetual because 33. Kf1 e3! would be extremely embarrassing.
