Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-27-08  Knight13: Well played. The pressure finally crushed the Gun's Berg.
Jul-14-12  King.Arthur.Brazil: Maybe Gunsberg is a positional player like T. Petrosian, which refuses complication, while Steinitz not only developed well his pieces, make whole board plans and very effective combinations. The white moves in this game is to forget! It's seeking for suicide!
Jun-03-15  mandor: Nice play of Steinitz with an almost win position ( from 24 th movement at least). Weakness on d4 and f4 (with knights on board), control of d column and doubled pawns on column b by white. Hopeless position from Gunsberg.
Dec-11-20  Saniyat24: Would it be better for white to play 38.Re1 instead of 38.Rf2 and exchange the rooks?
