Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-14-05  Knight13: A Good position for the rook on e3. That's interesting. I first thought it would be taken by White.
Jul-01-15  SBC:

Although Lowenthal was Black in this game OTB, Black moved first and should be shown as White in the pgn. Lowenthal won this game.

Jul-02-15  jnpope: Harrwitz was the first player, or "had the attack", and played with the black pieces. Lowenthal was the second player, or "had the defense", and played with the white pieces.

The game as printed in the London Field had the additional move pair: 36.Kh2 Qxe4 0-1

Jul-03-15  SBC: That's correct. The color reversal confused me.
