Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-16-05  THE pawn: h6 18. Rxh6 gxh6 20. Qxh6 and mate follows soon enough.
Apr-17-05  Eatman: Actually, that line wouldn't quite work, as black have f5 there at the end, which would prevent mate. However, after h6, white can play just say Rf3 and he is up two pieces!
Apr-17-05  THE pawn: Just faster.
Mar-08-06  Eatman: It wouldn't be faster, because it wouldn't work, not only f5 but also 20. ... Qg7+ exchanging queens would slow down white.

Anyway, just stepping back with rook would be fine on either g6 or h6, so black was right to resign.

Nice clean tactics by Chucky.
