Jun-09-05  ConspTheory06: Looks to me like black resigned in light of 37.Nxg6 where white has an awesome attack or after the exchanges white has a queen and 3 pawns vs. 2 rooks. Any ideas?
Jun-09-05  kcb: Yeah,after 1.Nxg6!! Kxg6 2.Df5+ Kg7
3.Txf6 black hasn't much to do against
You're right.Awesome.
Or 1...Tf7 2.Df5 Kg7 3.Nf4...
Jan-13-06  Amoceann: With D=Q, and T=R it works. May be French anotation or maybe Spanish, I don't know. In any case it was a mixed.

HeMateMe: Two men of roughly the same age, Kamsky beat Kramnik 4-1, with 9 draws, as per the database here.

Quite an achievement, against a world champion.

This was victory No. 1, a team event. Does anyone know what board this was? I'm guessing Second board.

Aug-01-20  superstoned: Kamsky vs Kramnik, 1993 (kibitz #4) No, according to Vol 1 of Kamsky's chess gamer books, this game was Board One and clearly didn't help the Russians in terms of team psychology...
