Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-27-04  InspiredByMorphy: This is the best example of the Schleimann Ive seen yet! Incredible play by Karpov.
Feb-10-09  Woody Wood Pusher: Wow I haven't seen this game before, what a masterpiece!

Does anybody know anywhere it is annotated?

Thanks.

Jul-25-09  totololo: In his youth Karpov could still produce this kind of power play. Later something changed in his mind ...or the bought crown was too heavy?
Aug-23-09  nummerzwei: Black, though a decent player, obviously wasn't ready for 3...f5. He should have played either 5.BxNc6 or the convoluted 7.Nc3!?.

At move 10, Black already has a great deal of advantage. It's pleasing to see how Karpov finishes his opponent off with a number of clever moves.

Sep-20-12  KaleyK: Karpov is cute!
Sep-20-12  rapidcitychess: I'm guessing he's probably too old for you now. :)
