Apr-11-08  Knight13: 23...Rd5 and then ...Rcd8 looks like Black can grab d-file dynamically.
Jun-17-12  Howard: Try Googling the headline "Korchnoi gains chess draw with Suprise (sic) Move"

This was a NYT article from November, 1981, and it gives some interesting background information as far as the behind-the-scenes work being done on this game.

Incidentally, the headline indeed used the word "Suprise." Who the hell was the editor on duty that day?

Jun-17-12  Granny O Doul: Knock knock.

Who's there?

Sue.

Oct-11-15  Howard: It was shown by Polugaevsky that 34.Qe4 would have given Karpov a very favorable endgame.
