Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-26-09  stanleys: Surprising positional inaccuracy by a grandmaster like Romanishin - 9.cxd5?!,leaving him with double pawns and a bad bishop.Karpov used it to seize the initiative

Gennady Nesis thinks that later 42.Qd2 instead of 42.Qb4 would have retained good drawing chances (the idea is 42...Qe5 43.Qe3!)After Karpov's 45...Qb5!! there was no way to save the game

Mar-26-09  Woody Wood Pusher: This is classic Karpov!

What a GRIND!

Jul-03-13  Everett: 20..a3 is a bit of an eye-opener, as <21.Qxe7 axb2> and the Bg6 makes its presence felt.
