Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-21-14  johnkr: Interesting game - Kasparov played much like my chess software Chessmaster in this game. It is very interesting that White keeps an initiative for quite a while despite playing moves like 4 e3 which look so harmless. In a game I had against the Chessmaster program it proceeded the same as this game (I was black) until the critical point at move 14. There the software chose 14 dxc6!? Bg4 15 Nxd4 Bxh7 ch 16 Kh1 and now best seems to be 16 ...Bd6 with some chance for attack (Qe7). Perhaps Gary wanted to avoid that.
