  OlimpBase: One might be fairly surprise to discover that this win gave the Soviets yet another gold and deprived England of their first Olympic gold, unreachable until today. I don't believe actually White put up enough resistance, although the game looks more or less balanced along.

Dec-10-18  Howard: Kasparov claims in the Informant that after 18 moves, he already had a won game !
