Jan-13-06  who: 37.Nxf5 loses to 37...Bb6 38...Rc1+
Oct-01-07  adalav: http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=IvSbH...
Aug-30-11  Elrathia Kingi: Seems like Short must have messed up somewhere... The B pair plus an extra queenside pawn looks like it should be winning for Black. 25...b5 was probably too early. Something like ..Re2 to pressure the a2 pawn or ..Bd6 to blockade the d5 pawn and centralize the B (as well as protect the f6 pawn later on, if needed) would probably have been stronger. Hard to say if it would be enough advantage for a full point, but if Short could just trade rooks, then the game should be in black's favor.
Apr-19-12  Rook e2: I wonder why Kasparov didn't go for a repeat of his win against Anand (Kasparov vs Anand, 1995) with 7. Be2
Apr-19-12  King Death: <Rook e2> Maybe it was because this game was played before the win against Anand. It's interesting how two great opponents avoided main lines against Kasparov in this old opening.
Apr-19-12  Rook e2: Ah yes, my mistake. I thought these thematic games were part of their Blitz-match in 2011. They both went for Be7, not really testing this gambit. I think mainly because they were not prepared for this gambit? I remember Radjabov - Ivanchuck TataSteel 2012, I was there live when Ivanchuck played the Benko-gambit but Radjabov declined.
Apr-19-12  goldenbear: 15.Bb2 smells weak to me. I prefer 15.Rb3, and think that White has some advantage.
Nov-19-16  Christoforus Polacco: I am rather wonder why Kasparow hasn't won that game with 2 extra pawns ?
