Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-30-06  M.D. Wilson: A walkover
May-03-07  euripides: Perhaps when playing 14...Qf5 Short overlooked the threat to the queen created by 15.Qe2, and then improvises the piece sacrifice in order to create some counterplay in a bad position. Otherwise this sacrifice seems uncharacteristically speculative. The other three games in the database with this position continue 15...Re8 but Black loses them all.
May-29-12  screwdriver: A shredding
Jul-14-18  Albanius: This is not the poisoned pawn variation:
B did not offer the g-pawn.
Jul-14-18  Granny O Doul: It was the extremely poisoned pawn variation.
