Jul-28-04  chess4games: I found that Kasparov is about the same level as Deep Blue.
Aug-05-04  Everett: I found a rock in my shoe

Dec-22-04  csmath: The top GMs today are weaker than the top computers. Today Kasparov would not be able to beat a top computer in a match. This match was just the beginning of the domination of machine.
Apr-18-05  fenno: To be serious we have to admit that machines are slaves of their (Grand) Masters, and not the other way around.
Apr-18-05  RookFile: ... and I'm a slave to my two cats,
who let me know when it's dinner time.

I prefer to say that the top computers are stronger and more intelligent than <csmath>.

Aug-08-13  leka: Kasparov played here 1..c6 2..d6 6..e6? What is going on Kaparov mind. But i believe the best game their have Carlsen Fischer Kasparov Karpov could get a draw against Houdini. But The Houdini beats all the others super grandmasters 6-0.Kasparov said that the human player needs only one win 6-8 game match to prove that the human can beat the strongest computer at least once. But if you play like Kasparov in 1997 against The Deep Blue you have no chance.Kasparov played with white 1.d3 opening. How much Kasparov was out of this world. You do not play like that against the computer
May-13-16  VGA: Late reply but leka's comment is idiotic.

When Kasparov played that weird d3 opening it was to get the computer out of its opening book, hoping for it to make a mistake.

An anti-computer opening, a novel idea at the time.

Not novel.
