Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-24-04  Nezhmetdinov: king wherever N-c3 I assume - but could not the position be maybe held from there or did clocks play a part? Keene likes to resign early and, as he states himself, would have done so in '68 against Stein after ... a3! but played on for the benefit of the spectators (I think, himself can confirm this).

ray keene: i never liked going on past the point where the opponent was too obviously having a good time!
Apr-30-09  skotlander: I really like this game. Ray's Q-sac was interesting even if it didn't quite work out in the end. The ending was beautifully played by Tony. Both players deserve credit for creating a nice game.

ray keene: thanks-its nice to get credit even when you lose!!
Apr-11-10  znsprdx: <skotlander:> Technically speaking it was a sham sacrifice with the ironic twist of ended up having the Knight become superior to the Bishop after the almost 'lucky' Nd6. I tried 24.Ba6 which was pretty wild but Black still prevails if careful...very instructive
