Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-16-05  Gbness: Very interesting game and nice trap. Typical of Keres; if White plays Ra2, then the poor bishop gets taken. Quite nice.

TheTamale: That is absolutely abysmal correspondence play by White.

Honza Cervenka: <sea7kenp: This is Correspondence?> Probably not. As the event title suggests, the game was played in a training tournament in Tartu on the 19th of March, 1935. 8.e4 seems to be a mistake. Well, 10.Bg5 sealed white's quick disaster but after better 10.Nc3 black can play 10...Nxe4! 11.Nxe4 Nd4! and white is still going to lose material.
