fredthebear: The final move 30.Qe5+ forks the loose Black Rg7. After 30...Kd8 31.QxRg7, Black still has an extra knight for two pawns, but White has better mobility and centralization.
Dec-20-20  sneaky pete: Game type is not classical but correspondence. After 30.Qe5+ .. Leisebein & Schneider (500 brandneue Gambitpartien, 1990, game 266) write "und Schwarz hatte die dauernden Bel√§stigungen satt!".

Black may have been tired of continued harassment, but is his position really lost? After 30... Kd8 31.Qxg7 Nd7 for instance

the tempting 32.Qh8+ Kc7 33.Qxa8 Nb8

wouldn't improve the mobility of the white Queen.

There must be something better here, involving Ra1 into play.
