Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-21-05  DeepBlade: The silence after the 19th move.
White gains material whatever Black plays.

If Rook takes Rook, the White Rook recaptures, leaving Black with no compensation.

The only good move for Black is Rf8, defending the f7 pawn, and to prevent the check, forcing the King to move.

Mar-04-08  wolfmaster: 6.Nf3 was the novelty.
May-23-09  WhiteRook48: maybe 6...Qh6 is better?
May-23-09  I Like Fish: maybe...
May-11-14  GumboGambit: Um, how did Paris know where to send the correspondence?
Aug-29-15  thomastonk: <Unknown Chess Club vs Paris Chess Club> This is the second corr game between chess clubs of Berlin and Posen (today Poznan). The first one is here Poznan vs Berlin, 1839. For Berlin the game was conducted by Bilguer and Hanstein.
