Feb-05-15  heuristic: <refutation> your suggestion must be 7...Nf6

Opening Explorer

7...Nf6 8.Qxf3 c6 9.Bxf4 cxd5 10.Bg5 dxe4 has BLK good

Feb-05-15  heuristic: 10...d5??
10...h5 (keeps the WHT Q off this square) 11.Qd3 Kf7 12.Rf2 d5 and BLK is behind but not lost!

MissScarlett: This game appears in the <CPC>, vol.ii (1841),p.340, so how it came to be dated 1847 is a mystery. There's also the small matter that it was played at the odds of the QR. See: Staunton vs NN, 1846 (kibitz #2)
