Honza Cervenka: This is a nice game for sure but it has a few little flaws as well. White could have played 9.Bxf7+!! Qxf7 10.Ne5 Qg7 11.Qh5+ Kd8 12.Nf7+ Kd7 13.Nxh8 Qxh8 14.hxg5 with decisive advantage of white. Later Steinitz missed much better move 11...Qe5! instead of 11...gxf3. The Queen attacks Nd4 and threatens with Qg3+ at once, and 12.Nde2 is bad for 12...gxf3. After 12.Nf5 black can play simply 12...Bxf5 13.Bxb7 (or 13.exf5 Nxd5) 13....Qg3+ 14.Kf1 gxf3 and the game is over, other moves are not satisfactory as well.
