Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-15-05  misguidedaggression: OK, so how does white win after 12...Bg4
Feb-16-05  Dudley: How about 13.Qxg4 hxg5 14. Nxf6+ Ke7 15.Qf5 threatening 16.Nd5+ Ke8 17.Qf7# This may not be foolproof but it's an ugly situation for Black.
Feb-16-05  misguidedaggression: very nice, I don't see a way out. Also, it looks like after 15...Qc8 white comes out ahead by at least an exchange with 16.Nd5+ Ke8 17.Qf7+ Kd8 18.Qf6+.

But does Black really have to take on move 13? 12... Bg4 13.Qxg4

13...Be7 14.Ne6 Qc8 15.Ndxc7+ doesn't work out too well for black and

13...Ne7 Nxf6# is out.

13...Qc8 14.Qh5+ Kd8 15.Nf7+ wins a rook.

So I guess 13...hxg5 is probably forced. I thought giving back some material would help, but the weakness on the light squares kills black!
