  perfidious: My first thought on the seeing the players' names was that this could hardly be Ivan Sokolov playing a King's Gambit; indeed, there are no other examples here.

The next thing I did was look up the game elsewhere, which is given by another source with Andrei Sokolov White, he of the unusually narrow repertoire for a top player-another player who has zero games in the KG in this DB.

Who knows, really?

In any event, the finish is what one might call 'castling into it'. Black has chances if, instead of castling, he plays 13....Nxf1 14.Rxf1 0-0 or 13....Qe7; at least I see no direct refutation to these possibilities.
