Jul-12-05  mymt: The "Killer Grob",wonder if this games included that book.Theres no love lost in the way Kolty handled it ,but Love seems blind to the possiblity s maybe it was "new" to the general public back then.I like 6. ...Nd7 to hold the e pawn & ...g6, ...Bg7, before ...Nf6.Someone once told me "ignore the stupid thing & play normal chess"

2) 21 ... Nxe6 22. Qxd3 is simplest, but Koltanowski would prefer something with more kick like 22. Bf8+!? again (22. Bh3 Ndf4) Kc8 23. Qxg8 (23. Bxd6!? Rxg2!? 24. Kxg2 Nef4+) Nxf8 24. Bh3+ with pressure plus 3 Pawns. Do you see anything better here?

Jan-20-08  The Chess Express: 12. Qh4 Nxa2 was better. After 13. 0-0 Nxc1 14. Rfxc1 (Probable best) 0-0 15. Nc2 Re8 16. d3 Bf5 17. Ne3 Bg6 black's development is worth more than white's center pawns.

Better yet was 10. Na3 Nxa2! 11. Nf3 Nc5 12. Nc2 Bd6 13. Qh4 0-0 14. Ncd5 Nxc1 15. Rxc1 Bd5 16. 0-0 Re8
