Honza Cervenka: And the second glance changes nothing. 18...c4 just drops a Pawn. Sammy played the game quite poorly.
Mar-16-15  zydeco: Furman: "Korchnoi plays 1.e4 rarely so Reshevsky gave a little start upon seeing it, intuitively knowing that something was up. We [Korchnoi's team] knew that Reshevsky rarely varies his openings and so we expected to reach the position which actually occurred on the 17th (!) move."

On move 17, Reshevsky had already used up all but two minutes of his time.

Apr-24-19  PJs Studio: By 1968 Reshevsky was still a very strong player but Korchnoi was WC caliber. The outcome of the match was unquestionable before they ever sat down.
