Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-19-06  micartouse: A nice game. This type of opening is exactly what you don't want to have as Black against Kramnik.

The strategy against the hanging pawns with the maneuver Nf3-h4-f5-d6 and Nb5 was probably inspired by Kasparov vs Portisch, 1986. The rest is a nice example of the harmonious piece play that Kramnik is noted for.

Jan-25-10  fischer2009: was going through kramnik's biogaraphy "MY LIFE AND GAMES" and in a game against vanwely he mentions about dis game;Kramnik gives d move Nh4 a !;he belives black's nc5 was a positional mistake;
