Oct-04-11  ozmikey: I wonder why on earth White didn't claim the triple repetition at move 57. He is a clear pawn down in the ending, after all.

plang: 12 Qc2 was a new move and is now the main line. Lilienthal thought that 14 Nd5? was an error recommending 14 b3 instead. 21 Bxe5 eliminated Black's weakness at d6, perhaps 21 Qe3 or 21 Be3 should have been considered. Not 53 Nd3?..Nd1#. 63 hxg+ helped Black but White was out of good options. Black could have accepted the knight with 84 cxd but it was not necessary.
Apr-01-22  cehertan: Pachman was seemingly a better theoretician than tournament player. With moves like 21.♗xe5 and 31.a3 he gave black control of key squares and a better structure. Kind of an ideal black kings indian ending without the backward pd6.
