tpstar: The Center Game is better than it looks, since White gains a Pe4 vs. Black's Pd6 which guarantees a Space advantage, although Black gets easy development with the free tempi. Maroczy chose the amazing 10 ... Ne7!? accepting doubled Pawns on his Kingside and never even tried ... f5 to liquidate. Instead he built up a nice attacking position, then the brilliant Queen sacrifice 24 ... Qxh4!! and the rest was forced. Beautiful game!
