Oct-27-05  notsodeepthought: <chesscrazy> It may have been a case of too many (i.e., 2) cooks spoiling the broth - if Lasker and Maroczy were alternating moves, instead of consulting each other, their plans would not have been in sync. It also didn't help that 19 R:b3?? was played - perhaps with the idea of ... N:b3 20 Bc4+ and 21 B:b3, winning two pieces for the rook. Unfortunately, 19 ... N:b3 is check...
