KWRegan: This is a curious blunder because it happened twice. Maybe the time control was Move 30? Maroczy had 28...Rxa1 29.Rxa1 Nde3! splat. After 28...Ra4? 29. Rxa4 Rxa4, White immolated himself along that line anyway with 30.Qa1?? Rybka 3 is telling me 30...Nde3! is -14.19 at depth 12! Maroczy won quickly anyway with the a-pawn, so maybe time-control and Maroczy's positional sense explain this double-miss, rather than a defective game score---and I can't find a plausible alternative anyway. Nor did I find chatter about this via Google.
