Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-23-02  bishop: 6.Nc3??
May-13-04  Whitehat1963: Another example of how NOT to play the Petrov.
May-21-04  marcus13: I played exactly the same game with black against an opponent rated 1784. I am only 1451 and I was scared about this high rated player. I won exactly the same way.
Aug-14-04  Calchexas: An excellent trap. IMO, everyone who plays the Petrov should know it.
Sep-24-04  morphy234: Great trap!!!
May-13-05  fgh: Silly play by white :-)
Apr-28-06  dutchboy13: hahaha white next move is king d1 or king e2. blacks move always will be knight to c3 and that will put white in check and black will take his queen. White can still take the knight but then blacks queen will take whites queen so he cant do anything to stop the queen trap.
Dec-19-12  RookFile: This is really an excellent trap.
Jun-19-14  ljfyffe: W.Ferris-J.Narraway 1882 correspondence 1e4 e5 2Nf3 Nf6 3Nxe5 d6 4Nf3 Nxe4 5d4 d5 6Bd3 Bd6 70-0 0-0 8c4 Be6 9Qc2 f5 10Qb3 dxc4 11Qxb7 Nd7 12Bxe4 Rb8 13Qxa7 fxe4 14Ng5 Bb5 15Qa5 Nf6 16Qc3 h6 17Nh3 Ng4 18g3 Rf3 19Qe1 e3 20Bxe3 Qh4!! 0-1
Jul-05-14  ljfyffe: Sorry, as we Canadians oft say but this game I see is produced elsewhere; however, hypothetical moves are given in some sites as if actually "played".

fredthebear: After 8.Ke2 (or 8.Kd1), then 8...NxNc3+ 9.bxNc3 QxQd5 10.KxBf2, White has lost Her Majesty and the right to castle for a pawn and Bishop.
