  Chnebelgrind: 48...♔c6! Zugzwang
Dec-18-10  YoungEd: I don't understand some of White's moves. 11. ♖b1 just drops a pawn. And why not 15. ♕xb6, since White would eventually win the b-pawn? <Chnebelgrind> is right, though; nice final position.

GrahamClayton: <YoungEd>And why not 15. Qxb6, since White would eventually win the b-pawn?

It is slighty more difficult than that, eg

15. ♕xb6 axb6 16. a4 ♔d8 17. ♗e3 ♔c7, and 18.♖b1 is met by 18...♗c5.

Jul-13-12  YoungEd: A very belated hello and thanks, <GrahamClayton>! What if White skips a4 in your line? Maybe 16. ♖b1 ♗c5} 17. ♗e3 and the b-pawn must fall. White might be able to make use of his passes a-♙ after that.
