  Pawn and Two: The Janowski - Marshall match of 1905, played at the Cercle Philidor in Paris, was won by Marshall by a score of 8 wins, 5 losses and 4 draws.

This game, was played on March 14th, one week after the match was completed. A separate purse of 500 francs was provided by Janowski's principal patron, Leo Nardus.
