Feb-22-07  DrawMachine: Marshall chuffs up the opening properly here.
Sep-12-07  Guguni: Marshall playing like this???
Feb-09-16  zanzibar: This game showed up in the NY Sun with the comment:

< victory of the Kentuckian ... very doubtful indeed whether the game will greatly impress the readers of THE SUN ... not worthy of the two players ... Marshall practically lost the game at his seventh turn ...

<Things look all the more strange because Marshall at the conclusion of his match with Capablanca opening state he would never again adopt this defense.>

Nov-19-16  sfm: How amuzing! <"Marshall practically lost the game at his seventh turn"> Yes, 7.-,Bg4?? 8.dxe and Black has a hopeless position. 8.-,Bxe5? does not help. The further development is quite hilarious. Ah, Marshall!
