Chessical: Dus Chotimirsky makess Marshall's Albin Counter Gambit appear extremely unimpressive in a finely controlled game.

The finish is: <29.Re4+> Kd3 30.Rf3+ Kd2 31.Kf1 Kc1 32.Rf2 Kb1 33.b4 Ka1 34.Re1 mate.

Dec-11-04  aw1988: Lol, nice finishing line, Chessical.
Apr-10-06  MorphyMatt: WTF is 17... ♔e6??
Apr-10-06  Resignation Trap: <MorphyMatt> Marshall played 17...Ke6 because he saw that he was trapping White's queen with 19...Ra6. Black completely overlooked 20.h4!!
Jun-19-08  vonKrolock: While commenting this game for the 'Book of the Congress', Lipke mentioned the possibility 20...f5, asserting that 21. exf6 e.p. was weak due to the answer 21...Kf6 - Half a century later, Kotov & Yudovich pointed out that this was exactly what Dus awaited - to answer with the spectacular 22.Qd8+!!

stoy: I first saw this game in "The Soviet School of Chess" by Kotov & Yudovich. The first chess club I joined was Marshall's in NYC.
