Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-15-05  positional player: i dont really believe that QGA avoids complications and its first object is to draw. Of course after 7. Nxd4 ( i dont understand why Tarrasch, who said that the activity of pieces would compensate the isolated pawn, didnt play 7. exd4) the position looks quite drawish.
Aug-15-05  paul dorion: See Burn vs Mieses from the same tournament for 7 exd4. The master of defence (Burn) refutes black opening.
Oct-25-08  Fanacas: maybe tarrasch saw something he didnt like about it or maybe it was before he played that way.
