Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-05-04  LIFE Master AJ: Tal was at the height of his powers at this tournament. He lost to Fischer, but still won the tournament. Fantastic.
Dec-05-04  LIFE Master AJ: Black Resigns ... threats of Rh7 and e7 are decisive.
Dec-05-04  kostich in time: If you look at the crosstable, both Tal and Fischer were in fantastic form. This was one of the great tournaments of all time., its a shame the only tournament book is in Serbo-Croat.
Dec-07-04  LIFE Master AJ: I have a 'Chess Digest' pamphlet on this tournament. There is a cross-table. But most of the games are UN-annotated. (I much prefer the other kind.)
Aug-25-08  Alphastar: <LIFE Master AJ> in what sense is "Rh7" a threat? Also, which rook?
Aug-25-08  myschkin: . . .

41...Rg2 42.Rh8 Kd5 43.e7
