Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-19-04  Dudley: 42.Nf5 is coming up, with threats of 43.Rxg7 or 43.Nxh6. The best defense seems to be 41...Qe4 42.Nf4 Qf6 43.Rf7 Qg6 44.Ne7 winning an exchange at least. This 5.Bg5 line is recommended in Play 1.d4 by Palliser.
Dec-20-04  Snow Man: Mein Gott in Himmel!
Aug-15-08  Alphastar: Ye olde minority attack.
Aug-15-08  Avarus: <Dudley>'s line fails as 44.Ne7 leaves f7 hanging, no?

But if black does play 41..Qd4 42.Nf5 Qf6, white can just exchange everything on g7 .

41..Qxa2 42.Nf5 Qa1 43.Nxh6 Re8 44.Nf5 and now:
44..Re1 leads to nothing as h1 is covered by the Qb7
44..Rg8 and exchanges on g7, followed by Kf3

Nov-05-09  scrambler: This game with annotation:

Dec-20-17  Mazymetric: Black’s manoeuvre with 11...Ne7 is not bad in itself, but it turns out that he is associating it with the faulty idea of exchanging the lightsquared bishops after which White acquires a large positional plus by simple means. Black should have played 12...Bg4.
Sep-22-18  ewan14: 20 g3 !
