Sep-08-06  whatthefat: Why did Petrosian accept the draw here? I understand that black probably stands a tad better, but he's 2 points down, with 2 games to go after this. Surely he should have tried for more?
Feb-26-07  Brown: Because Spassky's not a chump, he stands better, and white has no chance to mix things up here.
Apr-07-08  Knight13: I agree with <Brown>. Spassky can even try to win this game, but he knew a draw would get him what he wanted anyway. No reason to take the risk and increasing the frequency of blunders.
