Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-23-09  Knight13: Terrible opening play by Schiffers. 9. Qb3 and 10. Ng5 doesn't do anything and does not help White's correct plan, which is to centralize.
Dec-11-18  HarryP: Blackburne said Black's 22nd was "a bit of Morphy."
Dec-26-22  tbontb: Black Pillsbury accepts the Evans Gambit pawn and eventually consolidates. The pretty line 22....Qxb5 23.Rxb5 Nxf2+ 24.Kg2 Nxd1 25.Rxd1 Nxf5 would leave Black a much better endgame.
