Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-05-21  tbontb: In the ending Black is always slightly better and Portisch maintains the tension until after 35.Kg3 c5 White is suddenly lost. Instead, either 35.Rg3 g6 36.b4 Rc4 or the plausible line 35.a4 Ke6 36.axb5 axb5 37.Rd3 Rxb2 38.Rd6+ Kf5 39.Rxc6 Kxf4 40.Rc7 Kxe5 41.Rxf7 g6 42.Re7+ Kf6 43.Rb7 should probably draw.
