tpstar: I love 9. Nf4, but next time I'll try 11. ef+ Nxf6 12. Ng6+ hxg6 13. Qxh8 Opening Explorer because this line still wins the exchange but otherwise the Nc5 plus the Nd4 are just too powerful.

Jun-27-08  gars: I must study this game time and again before saying anything. Anyway, I did not believe Portisch was such a cold-blooded player!
Jul-02-08  gars: It seems to me that after move 14 White is better. How can Black win after only ten moves? As I said, I must play this game over time and again...
Jul-08-13  phil6875: <tpstar> In your first line after 12. exf6+ Kxf6 13. Qxh8 Kf7 14. f4 Qb6 15. Rf1 Nc5 I don't see how the position is equal because 16. Bb1 Qb5 17. Kf2 Ne4+ 18. Kg1 Qe2 19. Bxe4 dxe4 15. Rf1 is the mistake here, better would be 15. Nf3=
