Jul-24-07  amuralid: I need to analyze this game further. My first impression is that it seems as though 12. ... Ne7 was black's mistake.

How does an average player ever arrive at a move like 12. Qd2. It seems to go against opening principles.

How does he find the intermediate 16. Qd3 that forces g6 and eventually gets him the h6 square to place his knight?

It was Taubenhaus who played the correct move here: White is winning after 21...Kh8? 22. Bb2!, while 21... Kf8 is about equal.
