Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-14-07  Karpova: Akiba's famous line in the Four Knights Game (4...Nd4) made him obtain an advantage but Spielmann defended excellently. Right until he played 24.a5? (Kmoch gives 24.Re1! Kb8 25.Rd7 Bf5 26.Rxd6 Be6 27.d5 Ke7 28.dxe6 Kxd6 29.exf7)

27...Ke7? wouldn't have been good due to 28.Ra6!

Nov-26-07  parmetd: this game is truly a gem. Move 18 ... Qe2!
May-06-08  parmetd: Kmoch must mean Kf8 Kb8 is impossible.
