  Chessical: Schlechter rapidly equalises against Tarrasch's <6.Nc3> closed Spanish. <13.gxf3> breaking the pawn cover for his King appears to be Tarrasch's attempt to unbalance the position, a recognition that he has got nothing from being White. Tarrasch is, however, unable to create any credible threats along the open <g> file.

As in other games in this match, Schlechter does not push as hard as he could as Black preferring to ensure a draw.

<29...Qe7> is a quiet but powerful move, threatening to break in on various weak Black squares such as <h4> or <c5>
