Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-25-03  refutor: any opinions on shabalov's ...Na6, ...Nb4 instead of the usual ...e6, ...Bb4? it can't be good i don't think
Nov-03-03  youngplayer11: both players have the spirit of tal in their play in this game,as if it was Tal vs.Tal.
Sep-10-04  mjk: <refutor>, since this game follows one that GM's can be expected to have studied, i.e. Spielmann vs Pirc, 1931 , maybe Shabalov had prepared an improvement, but didn't get to use it because Shirov tried his improvement first.
Jun-05-14  Mudphudder: This is just as crazy of a game as can be with these two players. I agree with young: these two are both Tal-inspired and both play with super tactical aggression so this was a most interesting game here.
