Honza Cervenka: Good positional game of Smyslov. Black is completely paralysed in final position. If 44...Kg8, then 45.f5.
Jun-12-05  aw1988: Or 45. Bxh5.

Honza Cervenka: <aw1988> 44...Kg8 45.Bxh5 is sufficient but less convincing for 45...Rxe6 46.dxe6 Qxe6 47.Rxg6+ Rg7 pinning the Rook. The endgame is won for white but black can still resist for a while.
Jun-12-05  aw1988: Certainly, but Smyslov is the master of technique. It is trivial, I know. It doesn't really matter. A matter of taste I guess.
Oct-21-14  ForeverYoung: 33 ... Nxd5?? 34 Re8+! Kf7 35 Bxd5 Rxd5 36 Rf8+!
