Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-03-06  lopium: A great combination from Spassky. I think it started from move 20.Rd1.
Apr-05-15  A.T PhoneHome: "I am about to queen my a-pawn, against Boris Spassky of all players!", thinks Alberto Foguelman after 24...ba2.

"No you're not, Mr. Foguelman! I'm going to beat you in a beautiful combination and my last move will be 32.Qa3. And yes, I can read your mind.", thinks Boris Spassky.

This is a smashing game!

Apr-06-15  Howard: It certainly is !

ToTheDeath: A barn burner! Spassky was even more dangerous than Tal when he wanted to be.
Apr-10-16  edubueno: Foguelman's 10... Dxd4 is a real mistake. Much better is 10...Cbd7 taking advantage of the mess King pawn structure of White pieces.
Jun-05-19  Helios727: According to Andrew Soltis' book "The Best Chess Games of Boris Spassky", Black played 24... bxc2 (not bxa2), and White captured the c2 pawn with his Queen on move 31.

The full moves being 24... bxc2 25.Nxg6+ fxg6 26.Rd8+ Kg7 27.Rg8+ Kxg8 28.Qxg6+ Rg7 29.Rd8+ Qf8 30.Rxf8 Kxf8 31.Qxc2 Kg8 32.Qc5 Resigns
