Dec-15-05  Autoreparaturwerkbau: Is the threat 23.Bh6?
Apr-15-12  sfm: <Dec-15-05 Autoreparaturwerkbau: Is the threat 23.Bh6?> If you shouldn't have run into the answer in the previous 7 years, well, probably the worst threat is axb, which is a bit hard to do something good about.
Apr-15-12  thegoldenband: If the game's information is correct, then Segal -- who was born in 1947 -- would have been four or, at the most, five years old when this game was played. We also have another Tal-Segal game with the same year and location:

Tal vs A S Segal, 1952

Assuming it's not just a database error, then there has to be an interesting backstory behind this.

The two <Tal-Segal> games at are not duplicates or two different versions of the same game.

The game on this page was played at the <Riga Club Championship>, and the other game here- Tal vs A S Segal, 1952- was played in the <Riga Championship Semifinal 1952>.

I don't know- he seems to be the right age, but lists him as an A.S. Segal, as you know.

No first name or initial is given in either of the two sources I posted above there.
